About Me

Who am I? Good question. I am a writer, working in literary nonfiction and memoir.

This blog started as a place to talk about lots of things, though over time the focus became the impact of incontinence and depression, and the weird and wonderful, distressing and often hilarious worlds these stigmatised conditions can lead you into.

Here’s some more information about how I originally defined ‘That Woman’.

I live in London, with my family, and am mostly dry these days thanks to years of physiotherapy, one major surgery, one day surgery and a contraption called a ring with a knob. I’m not even kidding.

You can get in touch to talk about any of the issues on the blog, future collaborations and my writing through my contact page.
